Work has changed little since the time of the legends, despite mobile phones, helicopters, and massive, startling trucks. Today, cattle are reared in the Rocky Mountain States where large ranches now coordinate the cowboy’s job and have developed the poetic profession. There are also family-run farms raising small herds with the same pride as the fabled cowboys of the past.
The cowboy has obviously had to adapt to new demands and today’s workers are very different from the original Texan figure.
